Recently, our founder, Dr Lola Cronje, had the privilege of joining Dr Imtiaz Sooliman, founder of Gift of the Givers, at the start of an Elective Paediatric Surgery Sunday List. This initiative was funded by Gift of the Givers and enabled children awaiting surgery to receive the specialised care they urgently needed.
For many families, access to paediatric surgical services can be life-changing. Through partnerships such as this, barriers to treatment can be reduced, waiting lists can be addressed, and more children can access the procedures that will improve their health and quality of life.
