For many children living with paediatric surgical conditions, access to timely treatment can make a world of difference. Unfortunately, long waiting periods often mean that children and their families endure discomfort and uncertainty while awaiting the care they need.
Recently, one of our young patients was able to undergo a long-awaited umbilical hernia repair procedure, made possible through the generous support of Gift of the Givers and the commitment of our dedicated surgical team.
Led by Dr Corretta and assisted by members of the paediatric surgery team, the procedure was successfully completed, bringing relief and improved quality of life to the patient and their family.
